1 - Helps to know whether there is the erection of the penis or not. It is helpful in cases of non-consummation of marriage. The girl side alleges there is no erection whereas the boy side says there is erection.

2- To find whether ED is Psychogenic or Physical. No erections are indicative of physical  ED or combined Physical and psychological ED whereas erections indicate psychogenic ED

Caution -
Severe anxiety may lead to inhibition of erection
Poor sleep can cause inhibition of erection
