Passing Semen With Urine

Dhat is expulsion of whitish solid material with urine or excretion of watery mucoid fluid spontaneously when one gets sexual excitement. It results in undergarments getting moistened. It is misinterpreted as semen loss. It is found both in males and females, especially before marriage or when one abstains from sexual activity for a long duration. It decreases with age. 

The person feels quite anxious, depressed, devoid of energy and loss of sexual potency. Because of the belief that semen is the source of strength and manhood that has been lost, the man starts believing that he is not capable of satisfying a female. This result in disastrous consequences because the boy starts avoiding marriage proposals creating problems for the family. 

This belief is reinforced by the information available in print media in the form of advertisements by quacks who put forward the theory that 100 drops of blood form one drop of semen. This is the most common problem in the youth today.

Passing semen with Urine

The fact is that males have many small glands surrounding the urethra called periurethral glands. They branch off from the wall of urethra and secrete mucoid substance under the effect of hormone testosterone. On sexual excitement, the testosterone secretion increase and these glands secrete more mucoid substance. This is like salivary glands in our mouth secreting saliva on smelling tasty food or lachrymal glands in eyes producing tears when one is sad. Nature has made each part in the body for a specific job. Urethral glands secrete mucoid material for facilitating sexual intercourse.

Both penis and vagina have to be adequately lubricated to make intercourse possible and enjoyable. This fluid has nothing to do with the strength or competency to satisfy a female. On the contrary, those having good secretion are likely to enjoy sex more than others. The weakness experienced is because of anxiety and guilt associated, not because of the secretions. This feeling is reinforced by the quacks making innocent people believe that they are losing semen i.e. their masculinity.
